Do you change the water in between people?

There is almost half a ton of Epsom salt & dead sea salt in the tank so it is not possible to change the water every time, so there is a 4 stage automatic filtration system consisting of UV light, 1 Micron filter bag with water pearls and Hydrogen peroxide, this effectively cleans the water in between floaters and every 2 hours when not in use to keep the water in pristinely clean condition.
I have Floated and now I have salt in my ears the day after?

If you do get the salt water in your ears, the salt dries in your ear canal, and leaves you feeling pretty uncomfortable for some days after the float. The most important thing to do is rinse your ears with fresh water when you shower after the float – this will ensure that any salt is washed out of your ears before it dries. If you forget to rinse your ears and find that they are uncomfortable after the float, try a wet ear bud, alternatively the chemist can give you ear drops “swimmers solution” to remove the salt and alleviate the symptoms. Do not be concerned, the salt stuck in your ears, although uncomfortable, will not do you any damage.
I have a cut can I float?

Please advise us if you have any large cuts or scratches, you cannot float with open wounds however cuts can be covered by a second skin ( you may want to do this before you come in) It will sting initially just as it does in the ocean, after a few minutes the pain subsides. The high salinity of the solution promotes healing to cuts.
Is everybody successful at floating?

We recommend floating three times  to really experience the full benefits of floating and before judging the therapy as it takes a few times to fully relax and get into properly.

Some floaters are in love with it the first time that they float however as with all different therapies not everybody will enjoy floating, you need to be open to a very different experience when you float and you will need to float a few times to really start to let go and allow the process of this profound relaxation of your body and mind. All experiences are different and no two floats are the same as each time you float you go deeper into the layers of your being.
Is it dangerous to sleep in the tank?

No, It is safe to sleep in the tank. The reason people think it may be dangerous is probably the fear of rolling over. Even those people who say they never sleep on their backs in bed, sleep on their backs in the tank. It is very difficult to roll over in the tank because of the density of the solution, and if any of the salt solution gets in your eyes, mouth or nose, it is an immediate signal that something must be done. You would wake up immediately.
Is it possible to drown in the tank?

No, it isn’t. The salt solution is so much more dense than the body that it does not allow a full immersion. After you have made yourself comfortable on the surface it will take you a lot of effort to reach the bottom of the tank.

Will I get claustrophobic in the tank?

The tank is BIG,  it is as wide as a double bed and 1.25 meters high, so when you are floating on the water you can’t even touch the top. You are free to float with the lid open however we do not recommend this. To get the most benefit from your float it is best to keep the lid closed, so that the temperature remains the same and so that you experience the deepest level of relaxation possible. You are in complete control of the lid at all times and can even hop in and out of the tank at any time you wish to.
